Job Title: Senior Engineer /Staff Engineer – Salesforce Development

Department/Group: Business Systems Group, Bangalore (Onsite)

Experience: 5+ years

We are seeking a skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Business Systems Group. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce integrations. This is a technical, hands-on role focused on designing and building scalable Salesforce solutions in close collaboration with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders.

Development Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processes.

• Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) for responsive, user-friendly interfaces.

• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations with third-party systems and middleware.

• Configure Salesforce objects, fields, flows, page layouts, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.

• Write efficient SOQL/SOSL queries and optimize solutions for large data volumes.

• Conduct code reviews and maintain adherence to Salesforce development standards and best practices.

• Participate in release management, sandbox strategy, and CI/CD deployment processes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
• Strong proficiency in Apex (classes, triggers, batch Apex, future methods, SOQL/SOSL)
• Solid experience building Lightning Web Components (LWC) and working with JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
• Good working knowledge of Flow Builder, Process Automation, and Lightning Experience
• Familiarity with Salesforce objects across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or related products
• Experience working in Agile environments with familiarity with SDLC and version control (Git)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable solutions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Skills

• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification
• Salesforce JavaScript Developer I certification
• Salesforce Architect Certification
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite
• Experience with data migration tools and ETL frameworks
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project delivery frameworks
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Copado, Git, or Azure DevOps

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Advanced degree (e.g., M.Tech) is a plus
