Who runs this site
Nirdisha is run by Hrittik Sikdar, one person in India. There is no company behind it. For anything about your data, write to nirdisha.in@gmail.com.
What we collect
Only what you type in yourself.
Job alerts: your email address, and the city and role family you picked, so we know what to send you.
Post a job: your email address, and the company and role details you fill in.
Suggest a company: the company name and careers link, plus your email if you choose to give one. That field is optional.
Feedback: only your answers. No email, no name, nothing that points back to you.
That is the whole list. We never ask for your resume, and readers do not need an account, so there is no password of yours anywhere on this site.
Cookies and analytics
Right now nothing on this site is counting you. No analytics, no advertising cookies, and no third party scripts on the pages you read. The one cookie this site sets belongs to the admin login, which is ours rather than yours.
That can change. If we add analytics to see how the site is growing, or advertising to pay for running it, this page will say so first and will name what those tools collect. Nothing gets added quietly.
Your IP address
When you send a form your IP address sits in the server’s memory for up to a minute, so a script cannot flood us with fake submissions. It is never written to the database and never attached to anything you sent.
Who else can see it
Anything stored online sits on somebody’s machines, so our hosting and database providers can technically reach what is there. Nobody else can. Once job alerts start sending, the mail provider will see the address it is delivering to. Your address is never sold, rented, swapped, or handed to an employer.
How long we keep it
Alert addresses stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Submissions and suggestions stay for a year, so we can tell whether a company has already been looked at. Feedback holds nothing personal, so it stays.
What you can ask for
You can ask what we hold about you. You can ask us to fix it or delete it. Write to nirdisha.in@gmail.com, and deletion happens the same day we read the mail. We write back to confirm. You do not have to give a reason.
Job listings
Listings and company details come from employers’ own public careers pages. They hold no personal data about you.
