What does Social Listening & Engagement Analyst do at WPP Production?
We are seeking a highly analytical, proactive, and strategically-minded Social Listening & Insights Expert to be the eyes and ears of the brand in the digital landscape. This critical role will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting online conversations across social media, news sites, forums, blogs, and digital communities to provide actionable insights that inform and enhance strategies across Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, PR, and Digital.
The ideal candidate will translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives, identifying emerging trends, potential risks, and significant opportunities within the fast-paced FMCG and consumer brand ecosystem. We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked with luxury, premium, or lifestyle brands — or those who possess a strong understanding of the luxury world, including premium consumer behavior, cultural relevance, brand perception, exclusivity, and high-end communication ecosystems.
This role requires someone who is deeply attuned to internet culture, consumer sentiment, influencer ecosystems, and reputation management in real time. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, proactively identifying risks and opportunities while delivering strategic insights that support business and brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities
A. Social Listening, Monitoring & Intelligence
- Design, configure, and manage advanced social listening queries, dashboards, and tracking frameworks using industry-leading tools (e.g. Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Meltwater, and NetBase Quid).
- Monitor and analyze brand mentions, consumer conversations, competitor activity, influencer discourse, emerging trends, and relevant cultural moments across social media, forums, blogs, news platforms, and digital communities.
- Track conversations related to campaigns, launches, partnerships, corporate initiatives, and reputation-sensitive topics in real time.
- Identify key influencers, communities, creators, and emerging voices relevant to the brand and target audiences.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking, share-of-voice analysis, and sentiment tracking across brands and categories.
